My Sister in Heaven
I sit here and ponder how very much
I’d like to talk with you today,
there are so many things
that we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you care for me,
and how much I care for you,
and each time I think of you,
I know you’ll miss me too.
An angel came and took you by the hand, and said
your place was ready in heaven, far above…
and you had to leave behind, all those you dearly loved.
You had so much to live for, you had so much to do…
It still seems impossible that God was taking you.
And though your life on earth is past, in Heaven it starts anew.
You’ll live for all eternity, just as God has promised you.
And though you’ve walked through Heaven’s gate,
we’re never far apart,
for every time I think of you
you’re right here, deep within my heart.
I ALWAYS LOVED YOU,
Barbara, Dan & Danny
Mary Baricevich, age 75, passed away on July 3, 2020 at Family of Caring in Montclair. Born in NY, Mary spent the first 34 years living in Queens with her loving parents, siblings, and later on her daughter. She then moved to Lyndhurst, NJ with her daughter and went on to have her 2 sons. In 1985, Mary moved to North Arlington, NJ where she continued to raise her three children and reside all these years. In 1990, Mary was hired as a teller at Kearny Federal Savings Bank in North Arlington. Through the years, she worked hard and was promoted to Assistant Head Teller and after 21 years of employment she retired in November 2011. Mary took great pride in her 3 children, son in law, daughter in law and her one and only grandchild. Mary was a loving mother who worked hard. The amount of adversity that she had to deal with and overcome in her life is more than anyone should have to endure. It was very difficult being a single parent with three kids but she persevered and made endless sacrifices always putting her children first. The joy she had watching her kids live their adult lives was reward in itself. When her grandson was born she was over the moon! She is predeceased by her most loving father John Baricevich and mother Carmela Baricevich. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Tiffany Caruso, son, Anthony Pettignano, son, Michael Pettignano, son in law, Rick Caruso, daughter in law, Ivy Pettignano, and her amazing grandson, Victor Caruso. She also loved her longtime 4 legged companions over the years,Tiny for 14 years, Holly of almost 14 years and just until summer of 2019 her precious Bella! She battled with serious health issues the last five years and her family can take great joy in the fact that she is at peace. She will be greatly missed and always loved!

My Sister in Heaven
Such a loving and caring person. The world has lost a bright light. It was an honor knowing her and I am blessed that I did
Her family was her world
